Ahnna Parkhurst hit the ground running over the weekend in the season openers for her 2019 campaign. She raced to a pair of Top-10 finishes during the 44th annual National 100 at East Alabama Motor Speedway.

Her performances came in the Crate Late Model and National Late Model Super Car Series (NLMSCS) ranks in her LauriesFund.org #23 Richard Childress Racing/E-Z-GO Late Model.

“Overall, it was a great start to our season,” the 18-year-old Parkhurst said. “In the Crate Late Model feature we started deep in the field, but the car was perfect, and I could go anywhere. We had a great drive to a fourth-place finish. The National Late Model Series feature was a bit of a different story. The car was good early, but I got turned around and hit by a few cars around on a mid-race restart. I was able to keep going, but the car just didn’t want to turn anymore after the contact.” (DirtonDirt photo)

January 21, 2019 - Parkhurst Adds Fields Inc to List of Marketing Partners; To Begin 2019 Season With National 100 at EAMS
I’m ready to start racing!

The plan for this year will have me mostly on dirt with some asphalt races. From a dirt perspective I will be racing Crate, Limited & Supers. Still have some logistics to workout but during the season I should climb behind a K&N East or West Car. I have re-signed as a development driver for Richard Childress Racing. I truly appreciate the support they have provided over the last 3 years. All of our sponsors have returned plus a new one and an additional one to be announced soon. My dream of racing could not happen without the following companies and their associates. <<MORE>>
